Meet your practitioner.
Nice to meet you!
I’m Kel (they/them) and I believe healing is holistic. Every aspect of our lived experience contributes to our overall health and wellness. This is a notion I live by and honor. My goal is to help you feel good in your skin.
My story isn’t unique. I spent decades living with debilitating chronic health issues that I’m impacted my quality of life. Bloating, IBS, chronic fatigue, chronic brain fog, anxiety, depression - you name it, I’ve probably experienced it. I had to advocate for myself in a medical setting at every turn to find answers. Over and over, I was told everything was “normal” or “healthy” but it didn’t feel like anything was normal. I didn’t feel healthy at all. It wasn’t until I discovered a holistic approach to health + wellness that I started finding answers. For the 4 years, I’ve dedicated so much time + energy into learning about gut health, nervous system regulation, and holistic healing modalities. Shifting my diet, prioritizing my gut health, healing my nervous system, and developing movement practices that work for me have all made it possible for me to thrive and feel good in my body. My own health journey lead me to receiving my certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner in 2021 and I’ve been helping clients reach their health goals ever since.
I firmly believe prioritizing our health + wellness is one of the most impactful ways we can show up for ourselves. It is a major act of self-love.
My approach
My approach as a practitioner is gentle, intuitive, and bio-individual. Every client has a unique set of needs based on their lived experience. I encourage clients to listen to their bodies and honor the ways in which their body is communicating with them. I guide my clients away from judgement of themselves and toward more compassion + curiosity. I lead with this notion: simple and small shifts create sustainable, long-term change. And as a queer + non-binary person, my approach is always queer + trans affirming.
